After one year of operation of the 100 kW biogas plant of the farm “Tenuta Pontoni dei Fratelli Diana” the results are really satisfactory!
Here are some figures from the overall budget:
- In the year of operation, the engine worked 8547 hours;
- More than 850,000 kWh of electricity was delivered during the hours of operation;
- the company has completely zeroed out the consumption of methane to burn in the boiler.
In fact, all of the available heat emitted by the cogenerator is recovered to heat the livestock farm stables, the dairy plant and the office area.
