Fortore Energia is operating in the field of renewable energies. It was set up in 2001 from a Joint Venture between the Comunità Montane of Fortore Beneventano and the Monti Dauni Settentrionali and other private companies that are in the same industry.
The company has incorporated know-how and methodologies to different levels of the production chain to prove itself over time as one of the most important players on the Italian market for infrastructures and volumes. With over 150 MW wind and photovoltaic systems and beyond 300 MW plants built all over Italy, Fortore Energia positions itself as a future-oriented company.
Eager to expand its areas of operation while maintaining the quality standards that have always characterized the modus operandi of Fortore Energia, a series of acquisitions and partnerships take place, aiming to increase the intrinsic value of the company.
The HFE Group was acquired in 2016 and, in 2018, the first Anaerobic Composting plant was bought through the subsidiary Maia Rigenera, which allowed an entry into the field of biomethane and electricity production, as well as the purification process. The next phase led Fortore Energia to choose Solarfotonica as a strategic technology and know-how partner.
